Ethical Sourcing
Hair Extensions By Nature sources 100% of its human hair from South Indian temples, primarily in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. Devotees at major temples like Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams voluntarily offer their hair as a religious act — a practice that has existed for centuries. This hair is then auctioned by the temples and purchased by licensed manufacturers like us. The sourcing is traceable, voluntary, and ethical — there is no coercion, no forced collection, and no misrepresentation of origin. We maintain documentation of our sourcing relationships and can provide provenance details to wholesale buyers upon request.
Sorting & Grading
Once raw temple hair arrives at our Faridabad facility, every bundle undergoes manual sorting by experienced artisans. Hair is graded by length (16 to 40 inches), thickness, root-to-tip consistency, and overall quality. Cuticle alignment — meaning all strands run in the same root-to-tip direction — is verified at this stage. Misaligned or tangled strands are separated out. Hair is further classified as single-drawn (natural mix of lengths) or double-drawn (predominantly one consistent length). This grading process determines the final product category, pricing tier, and quality certification of each bundle.
Cleaning & Conditioning
Raw hair must be cleaned to remove natural oils, dust, and residue from the temple floor without damaging the cuticle. We use a gentle, pH-neutral wash process followed by deep conditioning treatments. The goal is to preserve the natural strength and shine of the hair while making it hygienic and ready for processing. We deliberately avoid harsh chemical treatments like acid baths or silicone coating — methods commonly used by lower-quality manufacturers to artificially improve the appearance of poor-quality hair. Our hair’s quality is real, not cosmetic.
Manufacturing
Clean, graded hair is now crafted into the specific product ordered by the buyer. Our facility manufactures the full range: loose bulk hair, I-Tip and U-Tip extensions, hand-tied and machine wefts, tape-in sets, clip-on extensions, lace and mono closures and frontals, full cap wigs, hair toppers, and men’s hair systems. Each product is made to buyer specifications — custom length, texture, color, draw type, and base construction where applicable. Our skilled workers bring years of craft experience to each product type, ensuring consistent output across every batch.
Quality Inspection
Every finished batch undergoes a structured quality inspection before dispatch. The 7 quality checks we conduct are: (1) Cuticle alignment verification — all strands must run root-to-tip. (2) Tensile strength test — strands pulled to confirm no shedding. (3) Color consistency check — dyed batches are compared against the approved color swatch. (4) Length accuracy — each bundle measured to verify stated length. (5) Weight accuracy — each bundle weighed to the gram. (6) Weft and tip integrity check for extension types — no loose tracks, uniform tip application. (7) Visual inspection for texture consistency and absence of synthetic blending. Only batches that pass all 7 checks are cleared for packaging.
Packaging & Shipping
Cleared product is packaged according to the buyer’s specification — white label for neutral stock, private label with custom branding for own-brand buyers, or standard HEBN packaging for catalog orders. We prepare all export documentation including commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and customs declaration. We ship via DHL, FedEx, and freight carriers depending on order size and destination. Our logistics team handles door-to-door shipping to 40+ countries and supports buyers with any customs queries. Typical dispatch time after order confirmation is 7–14 business days for custom orders and 3–5 days for catalog stock.
